LastMileLink Technologies unveils new courier app

CitySprint’s innovation incubator LastMileLink Technologies has launched a new app designed to help couriers accept and manage work more easily. The courier app, which can be white-labelled, will enable couriers working with CitySprint to use their smartphones to accept or decline jobs, carry out multi-stop jobs and pick-up returns.

The app also offers couriers full visibility of their mileage and accrued earnings on a daily, weekly and monthly basis – and will help them optimise their routes.

Santosh Sahu, CEO of LastMileLink Technologies, commented: “Our app is the first of many exciting new developments from LastMileLink Technologies. It’s a credit to the hard work and dedication of our team.

“Through the app, couriers and fleet managers both have access to brand new, innovative technology which will revolutionise their way of working; cutting time and improving performance. It’s a win-win.”

Patrick Gallagher, CEO of the CitySprint Group, added: “Technology is right at the heart of our business. It means we can operate more efficiently, provide our customers with a better service and make life easier for our couriers. Same day delivery is revolutionising logistics, driven by the demand for convenience. Our investment in technology is helping us stay ahead of the game – which is why we created LastMileLink Technologies.”

LastMileLink Technologies was set up in 2016 to develop and build industry-leading technology that will support CitySprint and other partner.  It has already spearheaded the development of the Group’s e-commerce delivery platform, On the dot.
