MPD rebrands as Sorted.Group

The MPD Group has announced that is rebranding as the Sorted.Group, and also launching its new app, Sorted. As part of the rebranding, the various elements within the group portfolio will also take on new names: Electio becomes SortedPRO; Basket Hero becomes SortedHERO; and MyParcelDelivery will become MyParcelSorted.

In a statement sent to Post&Parcel today (8 May), the company said  that the new app Sorted “offers the functionality to aggregate all of a consumer’s different delivery and returns correspondence into one handy app that they customise at a click”.

The company continued: “It has options to track deliveries and returns through Facebook and WhatsApp and also works as single unified paperless returns app. It allows retailers to not only better blend their logistics partners into the customer journey, creating a seamless delivery experience, but also to quickly take advantage of the rapid innovations that carriers are bringing to market.”

David Grimes, founder and CEO at Sorted.Group, added: “With the Sorted app the thinking has evolved past the click to ship, and delivery has become a completely customisable and customer-centric event. Our tech unifies a customer’s expectations with a retailer’s endeavours and the fast-moving innovations and services that carriers are continually bringing to the market to create the best possible delivery experience for everyone. Sorted.”

The company said that the Sorted.Pro platform “will be live in 19 countries, in 12 languages and six currencies by the end of 2017”.
