Posti announces CEO for Flexo
Tommi Törmälä has been appointed as CEO of Flexo, the new joint venture of Posti and SOL that will focus on providing in-house logistics services. Törmälä’s previous roles have included being the director for Finnish operations at staffing company Adecco and COO at Manpower.
He also has a track record in sales management, and before his new post, he headed the key account operations of Ilmarinen.
Commenting on his new role, Törmälä said: “Flexo stands on the shoulders of two companies that are successful in their own fields of business. SOL’s expertise in personnel management and recruitment, combined with Posti’s logistical expertise allow us to build a unique venture. I believe that Flexo will enable both our customers and personnel to succeed.”
Törmälä will report to Harri Kämppä, Vice President, Supply Chain Solutions at Posti.
