PostalAnnex+ Delivers Choice in Shipping in US

PostalAnnex+, the nation’s second ranked postal services franchise, today announced that they will continue to provide customers with a choice in shipping.
Amid news of competitor MBE undergoing a massive franchise renaming effort, PostalAnnex+ points out that this will mean a reduction in shipping options provided by the newly branded UPS Stores, which will no longer be part of the FedEx Authorized ShipCenter(R) program.
PostalAnnex+ sees a huge opportunity to step in and fill the void left by the competition. All of its 270 service centers are both UPS Authorized Shipping Outlets as well as FedEx Authorized ShipCenters. While branding may be important initially, it is convenience and quality service that keeps customers coming back, and the company predicts that many postal customers will opt for a choice of convenient, time-saving shipping options, rather than no choice at all.
“For the past eighteen years, our company’s success has been largely due to our unwavering commitment to providing convenience and service to our customers, and part of that commitment is offering them a choice in shipping,” remarked PostalAnnex+ President and CEO Jack Lentz. “While our retail competitors are consolidating brands, they are also in effect limiting the express shipping options their customers can choose from. In sharp contrast, PostalAnnex+ will continue to offer customers a broad range of shipping services including FedEx, UPS and USPS, in addition to a wide array of business support services.”
“PostalAnnex+ has had a long relationship with FedEx, and has helped us serve the small office home office (SOHO) market over the years,” said Gurn Freeman, retail sales director of FedEx Corp. “We are very pleased that PostalAnnex+ franchises will continue to be FedEx Authorized ShipCenters and meet the needs of this important customer base.”
PostalAnnex+ franchises provide retail shipping, postal and business services throughout the nation and select countries abroad, including mailbox rentals, domestic and international shipping, full service copying and printing, office supplies and on-site notary. Sixty-five of the franchises are in San Diego County, where the company has headquarters.
