Shipt and H-E-B expand grocery delivery service across Texas

Shipt is launching the online grocery delivery service that it provides in association with retailer H-E-B in three new Texas markets (Killeen, Temple and College Station), and also expanding the coverage of its existing operations in San Antonio and Austin. Deliveries in the three new locations will begin next Tuesday (8 August). The additional coverage in the San Antonio and Austin metros will begin on Thursday.

An annual Shipt membership normally cost $99 – but new members in Killeen, Temple and College Station will be offered a rate of $49 if they sign up before the launch day.

Members have access to “unlimited delivery”, with no delivery charge for orders over $35. They can choose a one-hour delivery window and – according to Shipt – orders can be placed as early one hour before delivery.

Shipt first launched the service in Texas in May 2016.
