Connect Group announces new board member

Connect Group has announced that Mark Whiteling will join the Board as a non-executive director with effect from 1 September.

Whiteling will also immediately take on the role of Chairman of the Audit Committee and will be a member of the Remuneration and Nominations Committees.

Gary Kennedy, the Chairman of Connect Group, will step down as Interim Chairman of the Audit Committee with effect from 1 September 2017.

Whiteling is currently the senior independent director of Hogg Robinson Group PLC where he also chairs its Audit Committee and is a member of its Nominations and Remuneration Committees.
