Construction set to start on new Omniva logistics centre
Omniva has announced that construction on its new logistics centre near Jüri in Estonia is set to start in the next few weeks and is slated for completion by the autumn of next year. The postal and logistics company has award the building contracts to Eventus Ehitus and Nordecon Betoon (NOBE).
Omniva said that the logistics centre will be “the most modern in the Baltic states”, handling “all parcels and letters sent to Estonia, within Estonia, and from Estonia”. The total cost of the new logistics centre and its sorting technology is €17.2m.
Ansi Arumeel, Member of the Board of Omniva, commented: ‘Today, we have completed nearly half of the 17 million euro project of the logistics centre – the planning. Now, we will move on to a much more visible part – the realisation of the plans, that is, the construction of the building and the implementation of the technology,’
