Littlewoods gets in focus

Littlewoods is to transform its parcel delivery arm Business Express into an ‘independent, focussed business capable of sustained profitability and development.‘
It has appointed Walter Blackwood as new chief executive to lead the change. Blackwood has 22 years experience in the sector having held positions at Unilever, Parcelnet and home shopping business Otto UK.
Alistair McGeorge, Littlewoods home shopping CEO says: ‘I believe Walter can make a significant difference by further improving the effectiveness and eficiency of delivery standards for Littlewoods and our third party customers.‘
