Wincanton wins IKEA contract

Wincanton has won a three-year contract with IKEA to provide two-man home delivery services in the South East of the UK.

In a statement issued today, Wincanton said that the deal will see the logistics firm handle home delivery services for three of IKEA’s stores including Wembley, along with home deliveries from the Harlow customer distribution centre which Wincanton also operates.

As previously reported in Post&Parcel, IKEA also recently signed a new contract for two-man deliveries from a number of its UK stores with DX Group.
