Amazon opening FC in Bolton

Amazon plans to open a new fulfilment centre in Bolton, in the North West of England, in 2018. The online retailer opened its first FC in the North West of England in Manchester in 2016. In April 2017, the company announced that it would open a new site in Warrington – and the planned facility in Bolton will be the third FC in the region.

Amazon currently has 16 fulfilment centres in the UK. As well as sites which have recently opened in Warrington, Tilbury and a new site in Doncaster, there are two further fulfilment centres in Doncaster and one each in Coalville (Leicestershire), Daventry, Dunfermline, Dunstable, Gourock, Hemel Hempstead, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Peterborough, Rugeley and Swansea Bay. A UK receive centre will also open in Coventry in 2018.
