An Post launches ReturnPal

An Post has launched a new service, called ReturnPal, for online shoppers making returns in Ireland and the UK. In a statement issued last week, An Post said that the ReturnPal app is now available on the Apple Store and Google Play Store. The app is free to download and registration is also free.

Online shoppers can arrange for their unwanted goods to be collected by An Post and returned directly to the retailer from which the goods came. If the customer is not at home, return parcels can be left in a safe place such as the customer’s porch or their windowsill. The customer does not need to print a label as the postperson will supply the return label from the details provided through the App.

If the online retailer offers free returns through An Post ReturnPal, the service is free to customers. Otherwise, customers pay a fee, with a standard charge of €4.50 within Ireland (further details at returnpal.ie).
