French e-commerce player Cdiscount using Bringg platform

France-based e-commerce retailer Cdiscount is rolling out Bringg’s platform across its delivery operations.

In a statement sent to Post&Parcel today (15 November), Bringg said that the technology will be initially used to improve the delivery process for large household items, such as furniture and home appliances.

The Bringg platform enables customers to track deliveries in real time, communicate with drivers to make special arrangements, and provide feedback on their deliveries.

The platform was positively received by Cdiscount customers in a trial earlier this year. Based on the feed back from the trial, Cdiscount is now rolling out Bringg’s technology for customers in Bordeaux, Lyon, and Paris; followed by nationwide deployment in 2018.

Pierre-Yves Escarpit, Operations Director at Cdiscount, added: “Delivery is key to our business and to our clients. By partnering with innovative startups like Bringg we strive to offer the best delivery service to our client: fast, accurate and convenient.”
