London bus operator Go-Ahead is reportedly considering the idea of opening up its bus depots to be use as parcel delivery hubs.

According to reports in the Times, Evening Standard and other UK media, the company is also considering using its fleet to deliver goods around the UK capital.

Chief executive David Brown was quoted as saying that Go-Ahead is “always looking at ways to maximise assets and build new partnerships, including with logistics providers”.

He reportedly added: “Using our vehicles and depots to reduce congestion helps both our passengers and other road users.”
