Spring names new president in the United States

Spring, the world’s largest independent provider of international mail services, has named a new president in the United States. The reorganisation became necessary after David Walker, formerly president and CEO, returned to the United Kingdom to accept a position with Royal Mail Group plc, one of three shareholder companies of Spring.

Paul Tessy, formerly the U.S. vice president of Sales, Commercial and Client Services, has been appointed president, with responsibility for the Spring business in the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.

“I look forward to building on the strengths of our company, which include a wide choice of cross-border mailing services, international expertise and a personal way of consulting with our clients to fulfil their mailing needs,” said Tessy. “We continue to make great progress in improving our business for our customers.”

Tessy is based in New York City and reports to Theo Jongsma, CEO of Spring, based in Amsterdam. For more information about Spring, visit the Spring Web site in the Americas or call 1-800-345-5577.
