PostNL delivered 32.9m parcels over holiday period

PostNL Christmas parcel deliveries.

PostNL has reported that it delivered 32.9m parcels in the Netherlands and Belgium over the holiday period.

In a statement issued on 27 December, Leendert-Jan Plaisier, director of operations at PostNL Parcels. commented:  “We got the job done together with our partners in the e-commerce sector, and that’s something to be very proud of.

“More and more customers are embracing the convenience offered by online shopping.

“We are delivering parcels in the evening and on Sundays more often and more and more parcels are being picked up from a parcel point.”
