UK ANC Express signs £10m deal as distributor for HarperCollins
ANC Express has signed a £10m (t144m) deal as exclusive European parcel distributor for publisher HarperCollins for the next five years.
HarperCollins is one of the top three book publishing groups in the UK. The contract will see ANC Express distributing around 25m books a year to schools, libraries, bookshops, specialist retail outlets and direct mail catalogues, from a distribution centre in Glasgow.
The new deal builds on a relationship that dates back to 1984 and Mark Gittins, CEO of ANC, described HarperCollins as one of the group’s key customers.
The parcel company’s UK network comprises 85 collection and delivery depots.
