Amazon reveals plans for Missouri fulfilment centre

Amazon has revealed plans for its first Missouri fulfilment centre, which will be located in St. Peters.

The company’s existing infrastructure in Missouri includes a sortation centre in Hazelwold, a suburb of St Louis.

The new St Peters fulfilment centre will create more than 1,500 full-time jobs and be equipped with Amazon Robotics technology.

Amazon employees at the more than 800,000 square foot fulfilment centre will pick, pack and ship small items to customers such as books, electronics and toys.
