New Commercial Director for FTA
Jerry Kane has been appointed Commercial Director at the Freight Transport Association (FTA).
Kane has over 25 years of commercial experience in the logistics services, parcel and software markets, and was previously sales director at DHL, Yodel and Eddie Stobart.
“FTA is recognised as the voice for the UK logistics sector, and has an excellent track record in delivering tangible benefits to its members,” said Kane.
David Wells, CEO of FTA, said: “Jerry brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and contacts to FTA as we embark on a new phase for the business. His energy and enthusiasm for the sector will help us to develop the commercial capability of the business and help to ensure that logistics continues to grow and flourish in uncertain trading times, as Brexit approaches.”
Kane will be based at the organisation’s Leamington Spa offices.
