Polish online retailer testing Twizy Cargo vehicles for urban deliveries

The Polish online retailer Eobuwie.pl has ordered two Renault Twizy Cargo electric vehicles to make same-day deliveries in the city of Wrocław.

The company is looking to use the ultra-small cargo vehicles to deliver goods to consumers “within three hours”, according to reports in Polish media.

The reports added that if the trials in Wrocław prove successful, the company will look to introduce the service in other Polish cities.

The Twizy Cargo is less than 2.5 m long and 1.4 m wide, and can accommodate a load of 75 kg.

The vehicle can be charged within three-and-a-half hours from a household socket – and one charge gives the vehicle a range of about 100km.
