Locpin’s addressing solution to be added to Route Genie platform

Route Genie’s advanced carrier management platform will now be working with the addressing solution provider, Locpin.

Using GPS co-ordinates, the Locpin solution enables the end customer to display their preferred delivery point in a simple format and to within a 3m x 3m grid.

This  information is then linked to the customer’s email address or mobile phone number, so there are no new codes or passwords for them to remember and there is no integration required by the retailer at checkout.

Guy Davenport, Co-Founder and CEO, Locpin, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Route Genie in offering a precise addressing solution which will improve carrier productivity and enhance customer experience.”

Luke Taylor, Managing Director of Route Genie, added: “We are always looking to enhance our platform with innovation and failed delivery has always been a major challenge for retailers and a pain for consumers. Locpin is a market leading innovation that gives the consumer the opportunity to receive their deliveries exactly where they want them. Consequently it was an easy decision to partner with them to take away the pain of failed delivery.”
