Nightfreight moves into larger premises

Nightfreight has officially opened its new larger and more technically advanced depot at St Neots in Cambridgeshire. The facility replaces the parcels company’s depot in Cambridge, which it outgrew because of increasing demand.

The new 1,116sqm warehouse is located on the Colmworth Business Park in Eaton Socon and serves businesses throughout Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire, operating 21 delivery rounds.

Nightfreight regional director Ian Lucas says: “Our overnight freight and logistics business in the area is growing rapidly. Location is key in our type of business and the move to St Neots provides us with the facilities and infrastructure to better meet the expectations of both existing and potential customers in the area.”

And he adds: “The new Cambridge depot contains all the latest technology designed to speed-up deliveries of mixed parcels and irregular dimension and weight (IDW) freight to any destination in the UK.”
