UK Parceline launches swapit relay service

UK-based overnight carrier, Parceline, is launching a new exchange service for laptop repair and maintenance companies, enabling them to return equipment to owners within 48 hours.

Parceline’s swapit relay service offers the secure transfer of laptops in protective swapit tote boxes, carrying out a number of checks for visible damage to the screen and casing to ensure easier and quicker internal processing when the laptop reaches the repair centre. When the item has been repaired it will be returned to the customer in the swapit tote box.

Swapit relay is an extension of the original swapit service – a mobile phone exchange service through which the replacement is delivered and the original item collected in a single transaction.

Commenting on swapit relay, Dwain McDonald, Parceline’s sales director said: “Swapit relay is a service sensitive to the needs of today’s laptop owners. They have told us that being without a laptop for more than 48 hours causes them real difficulty. With swapit relay, we will minimise the disruption and inconvenience of laptop repair, enabling their owners to continue working as soon as possible.”

Latest statistics from the swapit relay service currently offered to a major laptop repair company reveal over 99.2% delivery and collection success rates, with the durable tote box significantly reducing parcel loss or damage.

Swapit relay is available as three different services: before 10am, next day or before noon service. It is supported by full premium proactive customer care, online track and trace and proof of delivery accessible via Parceline’s website.
