DPD UK: parcel operations continuing as usual

DPD UK has reported that all its depots and hubs are working as normal and the company has no closures affecting any of its sites.

The company says: “We continue to follow the advice issued by HM Government and we are keeping our workforce fully briefed.

“We have changed our proof of delivery process for all deliveries until further notice. Our drivers will not ask customers to sign our handheld units.  We have created a new process to ensure retailers still get full track and trace functionality, and complete visibility of all their parcels.

“We have comprehensive business continuity plans in place and continue to test these and develop different solutions to potential new challenges to keep us in the best position to react effectively to rapidly changing circumstances.”
