Estonia: Turnover of BLS Logistics company up by 25 percent in 2005

Baltic Logistic System (BLS) Estonia posted a turnover of more than 45.5 million kroons (EUR 2.9 mln) last year, a quarter higher than in 2003.

The number of consignments forwarded increased by 66 percent in 2005. On the average, the company forwarded nearly 5,000 consignments a day.

Tarmo Tael, CEO of BLS Estonia, said the number of courier-delivered packages sent to countries of the European Union clearly increased side by side with domestic packages.

BLS Estonia has operated on the Estonian market since 1999. Since September 1999 the company makes part of GeoPost.
