Rainer Hengst joins Mail Services, Inc.

Rainer Hengst, a recognized expert with over 30 years experience on international postal affairs, has joined Mail Services, Inc. as Vice President of Marketing & Public Affairs.

Hengst created the first Deutsche Post international mail branch office in the United
States in 1998 and, in the mid-90s, served as Senior Vice President Marketing and
General Manager, Americas of TNT Mailfast, the international mail division of TNT Post Group.

In a 25-year career with the United States Postal Service (USPS), he held a number of senior management positions including: Director of Facilities Program Management, Product Manager of international marketing and Director of International Business Management. Mr. Hengst also represented the USPS as delegate to the 1994 Universal Postal Union Congress in Seoul, Korea.

Mr. Hengst’s special focus over the past decade has been the growing global direct
marketing sector, where he has extensive personal experience on both sides of the
Atlantic.

An American citizen born in Berlin, Germany, Mr. Hengst holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration from The American University in Washington, DC.
