ViaPostal Moves on Spanish Postal Market
With liberalization of European Union postal markets looming, Spanish new entrant viaPostal SA unveiled Tuesday some ambitious market share projections. ViaPostal said it aims to take between 35% and 40% of the liberalized sectors of the Spanish postal market by 2005, investing 40 billion pesetas (EUR1=ESP166.386) and employing over 4,000 workers.
