UPS announces deal with Expresso Mercurio Mexico

The South American Business Information news service has reported that United Parcel Service (UPS) ” has announced a deal with Expresso Mercurio, in which the Brazilian company will be responsible for the delivery of UPS packages in six Brazilian states. UPS is currently in third place in this market, behind Fedex and DHL. Expresso Mercurio is the largest road cargo transport company in Brazil, with 45 branches and 32 franchises. Company turnover was R$200mil in 2000, with predictions of R$270mil this year.”
