DHL launches AsPac-Slovenia services

DHL has launched direct LCL (less than a container load) services from Singapore and Colombo, Sri Lanka, to Koper, Slovenia. The move will “enhance [DHL’s] connectivity between the South Asia Pacific and Eastern Europe”.

Operated by Danmar Lines, DHL Global Forwarding’s in-house carrier, the Singapore service is expected to cut up to a week off transit times.

From Koper, shipments are distributed to neighbouring countries via DHL’s trucking network.

DHL also said it will launch the service between Hong Kong and Koper.
