Burder takes role at KRATZER

KRATZER AUTOMATION has announced the appointment of David Burder as UK Country Manager of its Logistics Automation division. Burder will be headquartered in Nottingham, East Midlands, and is a 20-year veteran of software sales with extensive experience of solution selling to the transport and logistics sector.

Burder was previously VP of sales at Magenta Technology. Before that his roles included 12 years at Descartes Systems, where he specialised in transportation management software for logistics applications.

“KRATZER AUTOMATION is Europe’s largest provider of mobile technology for transport and logistics applications and our cadisTRANSPORT integrated transport management system offers a number of unique features that will interest UK operators as much as they have their counterparts in continental Europe,” said Burder on joining the company. “The opportunities for KRATZER AUTOMATION in the UK and Ireland are considerable.”

cadisTRANSPORT TMS helps to automate, document and optimise the working processes of T&L operators. It is a modular system with a central processing platform and has the ability to add a wide range of functional applications. These include ePoD (electronic Proof of Delivery), collections, vehicle loading, image capture, satellite navigation and associated applications, management reporting and streamlined processes.
