Ctrack launches new range of tracking solutions

Ctrack, formerly DigiCore, is launching a new range of advanced tracking solutions for the logistics industry. The technology solution provider says its new series of products will “enable businesses to better manage their vehicles, employees and unpowered assets”.

The new range is part of the company’s expansion plan within the UK following the acquisition of Minorplanet’s operation in June.

The suite of tools will include Ctrack MaXx, which will replace the company’s existing vehicle tracking system. It includes a reporting functionality including more than 120 individual reports, along with dashboard that provides an overview of key areas including speeding, maintenance, driver behaviour, safety, emissions and fuel consumption to identify areas of under performance.

Speaking to Post&Parcel, managing director Tom O’Connor said: “Our products have to be user-friendly, powerful, configurable, no heavy manuals involved; it has to be efficient to use, as it must fit in with the way our customers want to run their businesses, and that is what we are very proud of.”

In addition, the company will also be introducing a personal tracking and mobile panic alarm device, a new battery box solution, and an in-vehicle communication tool and mini computer.

O’Connor said: “We are committed to creating an unrivalled selection of tracking solutions that will help businesses reduce costs, increase productivity, boost customer service and protect mobile resources. These tools are designed to work in isolation or part of a wider integrated approach.”

Ctrack ICE is a personal tracking and mobile panic alarm solution designed to provide added security and emergency support for vulnerable lone workers.

Another new product, cCom, is an in-vehicle communication unit will be able to provide two-way communications with drivers via email, Internet access and satellite navigation, via a dashboard computer.

“Ctrack now has almost 75,000 active tracking units across more than 3,000 companies, so it is essential to invest in leading technology solutions so we continue to meet the diverse needs of our customers,” added O’Connor.
