Satori pushes for high-end mailers with VP appointment

Mailing software house Satori Software is working to evolve its high-end mailing products for high-volume mailers. The Seattle-based company has taken on Corey smith, formerly of BCC Software, to boost its management team specifically to lead the strengthening of offerings for current and future high-volume mailing customers.

Smith has been appointed vice president of production mailing solutions for the company, which produces address data quality and mailing preparation software systems.

The new Satori vice president comes with 15 years of experience working with high-end mailers, the company said, and a “deep understanding” of the needs of the mailing industry.

Smith worked for BCC Software, part of the struggling Bowe Bell and Howell, in various leadership positions from 2008, and previously spent nearly a decade as director of sales for Postalsoft.

Satori Software, which is part of French firm Neopost, said it has been gaining market share with the top mailers, and that Smith’s appointment was seeking to accelerate that growth.

Joseph Skop, senior vice president of worldwide sales for Satori, said: “These sophisticated mailers require the highest performance in both mail preparation and contact data quality, and Corey has extensive experience understanding what it takes to deliver what they need.”

Smith said: “I’m looking forward to joining the Satori Software team and contributing to the company’s growth into the high-end market.

“Satori Software has a strong reputation as a mailing solutions and data quality provider. They recognize that the needs of these high-end mailers are different and require special attention.”
