Exel wins US & European contracts with Visteon Corporation

International supply chain specialist, Exel, has achieved two major contract wins on both sides of the Atlantic with Visteon Corporation, the world’s second-largest supplier of integrated automotive technology systems.
In Europe, Exel has been selected to develop a logistics network to support all of Visteon’s European logistics needs. The contract includes the implementation and management of Visteon’s European freight infrastructure. Initially this will take the form of planning and managing the transition from Ford Motor Company but also to provide the on-going service of re-engineering, procurement and management of all freight movements for Visteon’s 24 European plants. In North America, the company has selected Exel to become its partner in managing and operating its aftermarket and service parts supply chain.
