TPG avoids 1.4 mln Euro Opta fine

TPG NV avoided a fine of up to 1.4 mln eur from Dutch post regulator Opta after the company struck a service agreement with its Dutch rival MailMerge, MailMerge said in a statement. Under threat of a fine, TPG unit PTT Post signed Saturday a quality of service agreement allowing MailMerge access to mail boxes for unaddressed mail.
