Iceland Post partner with Icelandair

Iceland Post and Icelandair have signed a partnership agreement regarding delivery of passengers’ luggage that has not caught a connecting flight or subject to other delays. Iceland Post will in close cooperation with Icelandair retrieve luggage bags at Iceland’s main airport, Keflavik airport and bring them to Icelandair passengers anywhere in the country. The partnership agreement states that Iceland post will deliver luggage to passengers at hotels before 9 am, to local resident in the metropolitan area by the evening and to the rest of the country the next day.

By utilising Iceland Post as their service provider Icelandair gets access to the same distribution and retail network that applies to all households and businesses in the country.

Ms. Haflidadottir service director of Icelandair said that the aim was to provide customers with excellent service. “This partnership agreement is also very challenging and exciting project that fits well with Iceland Post vision” said Mr. Helgason Elvar, Head of Sales.
