Argos launches free same-day delivery promotion

Argos has announced that it is currently running a free same-day delivery and in-store collection promotion. The company is promoting the service as “an added bonus to customers wanting to beat the Black Friday rush”.

As previously reported, Argos launched its UK-wide Fast Track same-day delivery service in October and, under normal circumstances, there is a £3.95 delivery charge.

But from today (6 November) through to Tuesday, 24 November, customers can get free Fast Track same-day delivery on orders of £50 and over and £1 money back on all Fast Track Collection orders of £25 or more picked up in store.

Stephen Vowles, Marketing Director at Argos, said: “We’ve been delighted with the fantastic reception customers have given our great new Fast Track services so we wanted to encourage them to take advantage again of the convenience only Argos can offer, especially at this busy time of year.

“We are the only retailer able to offer same-day delivery nationwide and we’re even happier to provide this service for free to customers until 24 November.

The Fast Track service offers customers a choice of four home delivery slots: 7am-10am, 10am-1pm, 2pm-6pm and 7pm-10pm. Customers can order by 6pm to have an item delivered by 10pm the same day, or schedule a convenient time on the next day or future days.
