GFS teams up with Doddle

GFS has announced that Doddle’s national parcel store network has been added to the list of delivery options available through the GFS Checkout system. According to GFS, its partnership with Doddle will enable online retailers to present shoppers with “the broadest mix of delivery options available”.

Doddle currently has 43 parcel stores, which are located at railway stations and other high footfall hubs in the UK.

Daniel Ennor, Commercial Director with GFS, said: “The take-up of GFS Checkout among retailers both large and small has been simply tremendous since it was launched last September.

“Making available a wide range of traditional and alternative delivery methods has been of great appeal to companies who don’t want to lose custom to bigger competitors with larger supply chain capabilities.

“Doddle adds even more flexibility and convenience and, therefore, allows shoppers more chance to buy and receive goods where, when and how they want – all of which can be critical in determining whether people decide to go through with a prospective purchase.”
