Parcel deliveries at Delhi train stations

Automated parcel delivery terminals will be operating at ten Delhi Metro Rail Corp. (DMRC) train stations from February. According to local news reports, the service is primarily designed for customers of e-commerce websites who will be able to click and collect their online purchase. The terminals will also offer payment on delivery options, using debit and credit cards.

“This is a move to provide last mile delivery option to the customers of e-tailers which will act as a revenue generation model for DMRC as we are providing the space for setting up these kiosks,” a metro official was quoted as saying in an article published by Hindustan Times today (25 January).
