Bell and Howell to implement CMC CartonWrap at D+H

Bell and Howell has received an order for a new CMC CartonWrap from Canada-based DH Corporation (D+H). The CartonWrap system dynamically creates right-sized, ready-to-ship packages for companies shipping variable-sized items and providing e-commerce distribution and fulfillment. The system automates both boxing and labelling – two of the most time-consuming aspects of e-commerce and package fulfillment – and processes up to 1,000 boxes per hour, all without manual labor.

D+H will use the new system as part of its ongoing automation of the order-fulfillment process in its Business Cheque Program in Canada.

CartonWrap is developed and engineered by CMC Machinery (CMC S.r.l.).

“As the primary distributor of CartonWrap in North America, we’re very pleased to bring this award-winning dynamic packaging system to forward-thinking companies like D+H,” said Bell and Howell CEO Ramesh Ratan. “CartonWrap has been proven to reduce waste, filler materials and labor costs, while dramatically increasing throughput through automation.”
