Amazon reportedly in talks to buy India’s BigBasket

Amazon has reportedly begun preliminary talks about the possibility of buying the India-based online grocery operator BigBasket, according to media sources. As previously reported, Amazon has made a major push on the Indian e-commerce market – and the pressure is now on as the two largest domestic players, Flipkart and Snapdeal, appear close to a merger agreement.
