Amazon Treasure Truck rolling out to more cities

Amazon has revealed that its “Treasure Truck” concept will be expanding beyond its hometown Seattle to more US cities. As previously reported, the Amazon Treasure Truck offers specially discounted flash sales on selected items. Customers get notifications via the Amazon app when the truck is going to be nearyby – and then they meet up with the truck and pick up with their purchase.

In a notice posted on its website, Amazon was coy about the plans to start offering the Treasure Truck service in new cities, saying only that the fleet is will be going to “some secret destinations” and it “won’t spill the beans about where and when – but stay tuned!”
