Amazon to open new FC in Michigan

Amazon’s network of US fufilment centres is continuing to grow apace, with a new facility set to open in Michigan next year.

In a statement issued today (14 September), Amazon said that new one-million-square-foot facility will be located in the Charter Township of Shelby.

Since 2016, Amazon has announced multiple facilities in Michigan including three fulfilment centres and one sortation centre in Livonia, Romulus, Brownstown and the Charter Township of Shelby, as well as a corporate office in Detroit.
