UberDELIVER expands in Asia

Uber’s delivery service, the aptly-named UberDELIVER, is now live in Vietnam. According to a blog notice posted by Uber, the service went live in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city on 19 September.

Deliveries are made using uberMOTO’s driver-partners and the rates are 15,000 VND for the first 2 km and then 5,000 VND for each subsequent km.

Meanwhile, a report published on TechCrunch today (28 September) said that the UberDELIVER service has also been launched in Indonesia’s second-largest city, Surabaya.
