The Pallet Network will add 50% this year

The Pallet Network, based in Leicester, says its 78-strong network handles 3,000 pallets a night. It predicts it will grow to 4,500 a night later this year. John Lewis Transport, running 14 trucks from Alcester, Warwickshire, is one of seven new members. John Lewis, which joined last month, covers several B and WR postcodes and is in a network for the first time.

“It’s going better than expected and has already helped us attract new customers. We chose TPN because we wanted to grow with a growing network rather than jump in with one of the bigger networks,” says business manager Ian Back.

Other joiners include York-based NRT formerly with Pall-Ex Cobley Transport, WM Hargreaves, AER Inskip, AE Costin (Haulage) and NER.
