Beck & Call

You’ve seen the eye-catching green vans around town and heard your friends talk of their fabulous home delivery service, but are you one of the few Londoners who has still to use Beck & Call, one of London’s best-kept secrets?

Beck & Call is an absolute must for those busy consumers who shop by mail order or on the Internet. The company provides a simple, yet invaluable, service – delivery of packages to consumers’ homes within one hour windows of the customer’s choice, from 7am-11pm, seven days a week. With many national parcel carriers unable to commit to delivery times, much to the frustration of consumers shopping from home, Beck & Call provides its customers with a straightforward service which, to date, is proving extremely popular.

Hailed as a revolution in home delivery by consumers and retailers alike, Beck & Call was launched in 2000 and has grown from a ‘two man and a van’ operation into a serious business that delivers on behalf of over 60 home shopping retailers, including Virgin Wines, Boden, OKA Direct, The White Company, The Gluttonous Gardener and the children’s toy retailer, Letterbox.

The company now serves over 650,000 households throughout central London, delivering to homes from Highgate to Wimbledon, Chiswick to Brixton.

Commenting on the success of the business, Benedict Ely, Beck & Call’s MD said, “We are delighted how our business has grown during the last three years. As expected, Beck & Call is attracting much interest from home shopping retailers who want a truly convenient, individual delivery service for their customers. We set out to remove a large barrier between consumers and successful home shopping, allowing them to choose and buy all the great products available from home shopping retailers and have them delivered at a time of their choosing.”

Expansion of Beck & Call’s delivery operation to other parts of the country is in planning.
