DHL opens new warehouse in Manisa, Turkey

DHL Freight has officially opened a new warehouse in the Manisa Organized Industrial Zone near Izmir, Turkey.

Speaking at a grand opening ceremony held yesterday (5 July), Uwe Brinks, CEO DHL Freight, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening our brand-new warehouse in Manisa.

“We’ve chosen to make a significant investment in our own network here in order to meet our customers’ growing needs and take advantage of Turkey’s essential geographic location for logistics routes.”

Hasan Kavci, Managing Director, DHL Freight Turkey, added: “Manisa hosts Turkey’s first logistics park and is home to some of the country’s leading production and import/export companies.

“Our new warehouse provides a great opportunity to play a role in these global operations.”
