ArrowXL confirms new appointments

The UK’s two-person delivery expert, ArrowXL, has made a number of strategic appointments and internal promotions following a year of record growth. The company has further strengthened its management team after more than doubling its portfolio of clients over the past 12 months.

Adam Jones has been promoted to the role of Director of Sales with a remit to secure new business, work alongside new and existing customers across the UK, understand their requirements and provide the necessary support to ensure first class service delivery.

He will be joined at ArrowXL’s Wigan head office by Kath Biddle, who has been appointed Contact Centre Manager after spending four years as Operations Manager at Aegis. Kath will oversee day-to-day operations across the 50-strong contact centre team and will report in to Fauzia Mulla, Head of Customer Experience.

In addition, Gary Quinlan joins the organisation as Head of Data, Architecture, and IT Strategy following three successful years as Lead Architect at Michael Kors. As part of the changes within the IT department, Mark Nugent has been promoted to Head of IT DevOps for Supply Side Systems.

ArrowXL has also made a number of changes to its senior operations team, including Neil McEvoy who has left DPD to take up the role of Head of Central Operations. This appointment follows Dave Shurvinton’s promotion to Head of Operations England and Luke Barton’s promotion to General Manager at Droitwich.

Charlie Shiels, CEO at ArrowXL, said: “We continue to attract and retain the very best talent from across not only the logistics industry but also further afield.

We have assembled a very capable and highly engaged team that all continue to play a vital role in our ongoing success, which includes doubling our existing client base in just 12 months.

I’m certain this enthusiastic, experienced and driven group will continue to achieve great things as we move forwards.”
