Parisi: "Poste's monopoly is unacceptable"
Stefano Parisi, general manager of Italian employers’ association Confindustria, has said that it is unacceptable that Italian postal service Poste is still enjoying a monopoly of the sector.

The company, which employs 1,200 people in the area, has spent £1.3 billion on 34 Boeing 757 aircraft to update and improve its parcel delivery service. The firm has also set up a new company, called DHL Air, to operate the aircraft in a move which has created about 100 jobs.
