No one-stop shop for us: express is our niche, pledges GeoPost

Claude Béglé, CEO northern Europe for GeoPost, bucked the popular trend towards the logistics one-stop shop earlier this month by calling for more focus on the express industry. The reason for the downgrading lies essentially in the altered assessment of pension obligations financed by provisions. Contrary to previous practice S&P announced on 7 February that it classifies these provisions fully as liabilities. Together with other companies and external financial experts Deutsche Post does not share this opinion.
