Germany’s lower house of parliament approved a government proposal to extend Deutsche Post AG’s lucrative domestic letter monopoly by five years through the end of 2007.

Danzas Acquires AEI-Denmark
Danzas, the Deutsche Post World Net logistics subsidiary, said on Thursday it has acquired AEI (Denmark) A/S for an undisclosed sum. The Danish air and sea freight forwarder, with 50 staff in offices in Copenhagen and Billund, was previously a joint venture between AEI and a local partner operating under the AEI brand.”
