The package and mail courier companies who operate in Mexico, such as Aeromexpress Cargo, Airborne, DHL, Fedex, UPS, Servicio Continental de Mensajeria and Pegaso are planning to invest Pesos 800mil this year in equipment updating , says the industry organization, ANMEC (Asociacion Nacional Mexicana de Empresas Courier).

Read MoreWith an investment of USD6,000, the DHL Internacional de Mexico logistics and package delivery company has inaugurated its gateway, with which it will strengthen its presence in the interior of the country, as well as its connections with the US and Canada. The gateway is expected to generate a turnover of USD6mil per year and to create 200 direct and indirect jobs. DHL has a market share of around 35% in Mexico, and plans to increase the flow of incoming packages by around 170 as well as significantly reducing both arrival and departure times.
